NEWARK, Del. - - Jordan Siok scored two goals while the Wilmington University women's soccer team defeated Felician, 3-0, in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game at the WU Athletics Complex on Saturday for Homecoming.

All three goals came in a span of 3:12 for the Wildcats (6-2-0, 3-0-0 CACC) as they won their fifth game in a row. The Wildcats outshot the Golden Falcons (0-6-2, 0-3-0 CACC), 29-3, including 12-3 in shots on goal. The Wildcats also took 12 corners in the game.

The scoring started in the 36th minute when Jordan Siok put home a rebound off an initial shot from Alyssa Ruggeri. Ruggeri's shot rang off the crossbar and stayed in play, finding Siok who cleaned up the rebound for her second goal of the season.

Just over two minutes later, Siok took a thrown in and spun down the right sideline. She then split two defenders to get into the box on the right side. She blasted a left-footed shot from 16-yards out to the far post, making it 2-0 in the 39th minute.

The Wildcats were at it again just 61 seconds later, using the same right side to get a cross into the box. Off a throw-in, Zoey Lappin got the ball back and sent a cross into the box. Brianna Wons was unmarked at the penalty spot, heading it home for the 3-0 lead 39:02 into the contest.

Arianna Myers recorded the win, but it was three saves in the second half by Mio Nakajima and Isabella Mazzone that preserved the shutout. Mazzone stopped a break-a-way late in the contest to make sure to keep the clean sheet.

The Wildcats take to the road on Tuesday, as they play Holy Family under the lights. The opening whistle is set for 7:00 p.m. in Philadelphia.
