2020 (Senior): COVID-19 postponed season – retained year of eligibility

2019 (Junior): Appeared in 16 games in his first season as a Wildcat, making one start – scored his first goal as a Wildcat in his first contest, a 4-0 win at New York Tech on September 14 – Scored goals against New York Tech, Felician, Chestnut Hill, and Concordia – made first start for the Wildcats on October 9 against Staten Island – had a season high three goals (1G, 1A) on October 22 at Chestnut Hill.

At Monroe College: Played soccer at Monroe College for two years as a left wing – scored 14 goals to go with six assists for a team leading 34 points in 2018 – named NJCAA DIII All-Region First Team as a sophomore – scored 12 goals with three assists for a team leading 27 points in 2017 – named First Team All-Region XV as a freshman.

High School: Played soccer at Liberty High School in Manhattan, New York as a left wing – academic honor roll student.

Personal: Mamadou Diombera – son of Lassama Diombera and Salimala Soumare – has four siblings, Rokya, Safialou, Dramame, and Oumar – majoring in Sports Management at Wilmington University – from Bronx, New York – favorite athlete is Thierry Henry – favorite professional sports team is Arsenal – if he could date a celebrity, he would date Rihanna – what he misses most about childhood is playing with friends – the perfect meal is mac & cheese – considers his mother his hero.
