High School: four-year letter winner in cross country and track & field at East Brunswick, N.J.- he achieved personal best times in the 5k (16:26) and the 1600M race in track & field (4:18).
Personal: Matthew Alex Gonzalez- son of Peter and Yvette Gonzalez- majoring in Communications at Wilmington University with aspirations to become a screenwriter- from East Brunswick, N.J.- when not running cross country he enjoys playing frisbee and practicing photography- listens to fight music by D12 before meets- favorite movie of all time is Gran Torino- favorite professional sports team is the LA Chargers- his one superstition is to wear his Flash socks during races.
