2021-22 Season: CACC All-Tournament Team - CACC Player of the Week (10/12) – Went 15-4 in singles matches, doing most of her damage at No. 6 singles, going 11-2 overall – went a perfect 6-0 in CACC singles matches – went 2-0 at No. 4 singles and 2-2 at No. 5 singles – went 19-1 in doubles matches, including a perfect 6-0 in CACC matches – was 11-0 at No. 3 doubles, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles, and 2-0 at No. 1 doubles – paired up with Fenna Swaan to go 17-1 in doubles, including 10-0 at No. 3, 6-1 at No. 2, and 1-0 at No. 1 – won at No. 3 doubles with Fenna Swaan, 6-1, in the NCAA East Regional Final over Le Moyne and 6-3, 6-1 at No. 6 singles.

2020-2021 Season: COVID-19 postponed season – retained year of eligibility

2019-2020 Season: Played in two matches in the spring of 2020 before the season was shut down due to COVID-19 – first appeared in a Wildcat uniform on March 6 at Millersville, winning at number four singles and number two doubles – also won at number four singles at TCNJ but dropped her doubles match at number two.

High School: Five-year letterwinner for tennis at Sasolburg High School in Sasolburg Free State, South Africa for coach Werner Joubert at No. 1 – also letterwinner in hockey 2015-2019 for coach Sune Prinsloo – achieved high academic honors in 2018 and 2019.

Personal: Larize Nel – daughter of Reinier and Valerie Nel – has one brother, Reinier – from Sasolburg Free State, South Africa – majoring in accounting and finance at Wilmington University – favorite athlete is Rafael Nadal – also enjoys golf, the beach, and volleyball with family – the thing she misses most about being a kid is going to school barefoot – her favorite cartoon character is Tom & Jerry – the perfect meal is South African BBQ – chooses sunrise over sunset, mountain views over a beach house, and a hamburger over a hot dog.
