Andrew Feeley joins Dan Burke’s coaching staff starting with the 2021-22 season. Feeley is coming off a successful 15-year international playing career after being a four-year starter at UMBC. He will focus on player development, scouting, and recruiting at Wilmington.

Feeley finished his career at UMBC (2001-05) with the eighth-most rebounds in program history, grabbing 648 in his four-year career. His 7.8 rebounds per game in 2002-03 are the second-most by a sophomore in program history. He led the Terriers in scoring (9.6 points per game) and rebounding (7.2 per game) as a senior in 2004-05.

After college, Feeley went on to have a successful international career, playing years in Japan, Slovenia, France, Dominican Republic, Argentina, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, and most recently Uruguay.

Feely helped lead the Club Atletico Aguada to the 2019 Uruguayan League Championship, earning Finals MVP. He also helped that team to the 2018 regular season championship and a runner-up finish.

He was also a Quinteto Ideal (Top 5 Player) in the Las Ligas de Las Americas in Puerto Rico in 2019, a three-time Venezuelan All-Star, Honorable Mention honors in the Dominican Republic in 2012, an All-Star in Slovenia and 2009, and the Finals MVP in the 2009 Toyota Tsusho Championship in Japan.

Feeley also comes to Wilmington with coaching experience, having worked with student-athletes at Centenary and Farmingdale State during the preseason before playing in his international leagues. He also worked with student-athletes on an individual basis on skill training throughout the summers, coaching in the Jersey Shore Summer Basketball League.

He also spent time with basketball camps during the summers, being a Camp Assistant Director at the Get Ahead Sports Basketball Camp from 2009-19. He continues to work with the Nexo Sports Agency in Montevideo, Uruguay in client development and advisor.

Feely graduated from UMBC in 2005 with a degree in sociology and he earned a certificate in sports industry essentials from Columbia University in 2018.

He currently lives in Philadelphia with his wife and daughter.
