BALTIMORE, Md. - - A three-goal stretch spanning the third and fourth quarters gave the Wilmington University men's lacrosse team enough space to get by Frostburg State, 9-7, Tuesday night for its first win of the 2025 season, played at Homewood Field on the campus of Johns Hopkins University.
After the Bobcats (2-3) tied the game, 4-4, with the first goal of the third quarter, the Wildcats (1-3) scored the two remaining two goals of the frame and then scored the first of the fourth quarter to take their largest lead of the game, 7-4.
