Softball at 2016 CACC Tournament Championship
The Wildcats captured their second CACC Tournament Championship in the past three seasons, defeating Holy Family, 1-0, in the title game on Saturday. Much like the CACC Tournament opener for the Wildcats, the team rode the arm of starter Danielle Bradley while only needing a solo shot from Meghan Brown as the game's lone score. The defense stepped up for the Wildcats, getting diving plays and key decisions on bunt plays down the stretch to keep Holy Family off the board. The Wildcats earned the CACC's automatic bid intot he NCAA Division II East Regional Tournament and will find out who, when, and where they play on Monday morning during the NCAA Selection show. Bradley was named the Tournament MVP while being joined by Becca Stanley, Taylor Rizzotte, and Brown on the All-Tournament Team. Interviews with head coach Mike Shehorn and Danielle Bradley.
