Prior to Wilmington University: Played two seasons at Chesapeake College, helping the team to a 50 wins overall – helped lead the team to the 2013 NJCAA DII Women’s Basketball National Tournament with a 22-3 overall record, winning the Maryland JUCO and Region XX Championships – scored double digits twice as a sophomore in 2012-13, first at Baltimore City Community College and against Cecil College – grabbed 10 defensive rebounds at Allegany College of Maryland.

High School: Played the forward position at Meade Senior High School in Fort Meade, Md.

Personal: Katara Pressley – daughter of Pam Pressley – has two older siblings, Tamika Butler and Lawrence Jenkins – majoring in psychology at Wilmington University with aspirations of becoming a school counselor – from Severn, Md. – her biggest pet peeve is when people chew with their mouths open – her favorite movie is “Bridesmaids” – her favorite cartoon character is Spongebob – her most memorable sports moment is winning states and regionals in back-to-back years at Chesapeake College.
