2018: All-CACC (12th) - CACC Rookie of the Week (10/2) – ran in eight meets his first year as a Wildcat – ran a best 6K at the Don Cathcart Invite with a time of 26:27.20, finishing 11th overall – ran a personal best 10K at the NCAA Division II East Regional Championships with a time of 34:27.00 – finished second overall in his first collegiate meet at the WUXC Invite on September 1 with a time of 28:56.0 – finished 6th out of 135 runners at the Philly Metro to help the men’s team claim first place with a time of 28:19.9 – ran a 28:28.2 8K at the CACC Championships, finishing in 12th place – placed 23rd in the Inter-Regional Border Battle with a time of 27:21.7 – also ran in the Chili Pepper Festival finishing 127th and the UD Blue and Gold finishing 11th overall.

High School: Ran cross country and track at C Milton Wright High School in Bel Air, Md., for head coach Donnie Mickey – best 5K time was a 16:08 – second team All-MCHE – first team All-County – All-State (7th for 3A).

Personal: Brandon Jose Cruz – son of Anjanette Cruz – has two siblings, Christopher and Elanna – majoring in Criminal Justice at Wilmington University with aspirations of becoming a crime scene detective – from Bel Air, Md., also enjoys listening to music and playing video games – most played song on his iPod is Carousel by Travis Scott – if he could be someone else for a day he would be Will Smith – biggest pet peeve is when people interrupt others.
