WATERBURY, Conn. - - Neither team could find the back of the net as the Wilmington University men's soccer team and Post played to a 0-0 draw in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest on Saturday afternoon at LaMoy Field.

Each team rang one off the piping as well on Saturday, as Post (4-6-2, 3-2-2 CACC) led the Wildcats (7-1-4, 5-1-2 CACC) in shots, 20-15.

Post's Mohammad Awadallah hit the crossbar early in the contest, staying out of the net just 4:14 into the match. The Wildcats' Tom Garratt beat the Post goalkeeper with a shot in the first overtime, but his attempt hit off the post and stayed out, keeping the game scoreless in the 96th minute.

The Wildcats had three corner kicks in the first half, but the Eagles ended up with more corners in the game, 8-6, including a pair in the second overtime period.

Vinny Tasca made five saves for the clean sheet for the Wildcats while Fredrik Pedersen made three stops in goal for the Eagles. Will Stone led the Wildcats with six shots, but only one of them was on frame. Garratt and Fredrik Bentdal also had shots on goal for the Wildcats.

The Wildcats step outside the CACC for the final time during the 2018 regular season with their next contest, as they welcome LIU Post to the Complex on Wednesday. The opening whistle is set for 3:30 p.m.
