Men’s Soccer Ranked No. 3 in This Week’s NCAA Division II Super-Region 1 Poll

NEWARK, Del. - - In the second installment of the NCAA Division II Super-Region 1 Men's Soccer Poll, the Wilmington University men's soccer team is ranked third overall through games played October 31.

The Wildcats ended the regular season with a 15-2-1 overall record and begin postseason play on Monday with the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament First Round against Felician at the WU Athletics Complex.

A loss saw the Wildcats fall from No. 1 in the first NCAA poll, but the Wildcats rebounded on Saturday to stay in the top three of Super-Region 1.

Franklin Pierce jumped to the top of Super-Region 1 with a 15-1 overall record. Charleston remains at No. 2 in this week's poll.

Young Harris is the new No. 1 team in Super-Region 2 while Super-Region 3 also has a new number one team in Maryville. Midwestern State is the only team to hold at No. 1 in this week's rankings, holding firm in the Super-Region 4 poll.
