2016 Season: Team Captain

2015 Season: Finished third on the team with 19 appearances as a junior, all out of the bullpen – tossed 20.0 innings, recording 11 strikeouts – went 1-1 on the year with a 3.60 earned run average – pitched a season high 2.1 scoreless innings in the NCAA Division II East Regional Tournament Championship game against St. Thomas Aquinas on May 17 – earned the win in game one against Philadelphia on March 22 – struck out a pair of batters twice on the year, first at Mercy on March 12 and against West Chester in the Bill Giles Invitational Championship at Citizens Bank Park on April 15.

2014 Season: Appeared in 14 games as a sophomore, all out of the bullpen – tossed 14.1 innings on the year, striking out nine while walking eight batters – earned a pair of victories, first picking up the win against Adelphi on March 9 with an inning of relief before earning the win against West Chester on April 9 in an inning of relief – pitched a season high 2.0 innings twice, first against Southern New Hampshire on March 4 and against Concordia on April 11.

2013 Season: Appeared in 23 games as a true freshman, making two starts on the mound – made first career start against Bloomfield on March 23 – made second start against West Chester on April 23 – struck out a season high five batters in two separate appearances, first in two innings against Franklin Pierce and again against Southern New Hampshire – pitched 1.2 innings against Franklin Pierce in the NCAA Division II East Region Tournament, striking out three batters – picked up first two career wins against Franklin Pierce – Also earned a win after tossing an inning against Dowling.

High School: Three year letterwinner at Hunterdon Central Regional under coaches Mike Raymond and John Augusta – helped lead team to 62-26 overall record in three years – named first team All-County and first team All-Conference as a pitcher in 2012.

Personal: Peter Brendan Monahan – son of Mark and Karen Monahan – has a younger sister, Kelly – majoring in accounting & finance at Wilmington University with aspirations of becoming a forensic accountant – from Ringoes, N.J. – his favorite athlete is Derek Jeter – his favorite movie is Miracle – if he could date a celebrity, he would date Carrie Underwood – favorite professional sports team is the New York Giants – the perfectly prepared meal would be chicken and pasta.
