Men’s Soccer Moves Up to No. 14 in Latest United Soccer Coaches DII National Poll

NEWARK, Del. - - Following a 1-0 week last week, the Wilmington University men's soccer team moved up three spots to No. 14 in the latest United Soccer Coaches Division II National Poll, released on Tuesday.

The Wildcats got back on the winning track with a 3-2 victory at Felician, allowing them to move up to No. 14 on Tuesday. They also moved back up to No. 2 in the latest USC East Region Poll, following a loss by American International.

Then the Wildcats went out and beat Holy Family, 8-0, on Tuesday afternoon, so are now sitting at 12-1-1 overall on the season.

Franklin Pierce remains at No. 1 in the United Soccer Coaches Division II National Poll and East Region Poll while Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference foe Georgian Court University jumps up to No. 3 in the East Region Poll and No. 21 in this week's National Poll. American International falls to No. 4 in the East Region and received votes in the National Poll.

The Wildcats play Dominican on Friday afternoon to round out this week's contests.
