VIDEO: Women's Basketball vs Cheyney

All five of the Wilmington University women's basketball starters scored in double-digits to help earn its first victory of the 2022-23 season over Cheyney University, 62-42, on Friday afternoon at the WU Athletics Complex. It was a two-point game entering the fourth quarter, but the Wildcats won the 4th frame, 24-6, to win going away. The starting five was responsible for all of the Wildcat's 62 points. Fatou Ndao led the way for the Wildcats with a double-double of 16 points and 12 boards. Daja Claiborne also recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Amber Washington added 15 points and a game high six assists. Trinity Brittingham added 11 points, eight rebounds, and four steals.
