HAMILTON, N.J. - - All five Wildcats finished in the top 36 on Saturday, as the Wilmington University bowling team is now fifth overall after five Traditional matches at the Hawk Flight Invite hosted by Monmouth.

The Wildcats went 1-4 in head-to-head games, but knocked down 4,849 pins on Saturday to total 10,064 after two days of events. In their win against #25 Long Island, the Wildcats posted their second-best Traditional match ever, knocking down 1,100 pins, two shy of their all-time record.

Duquesne continues to lead the tournament with a perfect 10-0 record and a combined 11,212 pins. Sam Houston State is second with a score of 10,557, followed by Vanderbilt in third with 10,527.

Individually, the Wildcats were led by freshman CC Riojas who is in 14^th overall after posting the third best 5-match total of 1,062 in program history. She bowled game of 235-159-223-244-201, averaging out to a 212.4 per game average. Her day's best 244 against Long Island was the 13^th best individual match in program history.

Fellow freshman KC Miller is in 23^rd overall, also posting a 1,000-pinfall day with the eighth best total in program history of 1,008. She bowled games of 209-200-191-247-161 for a 201.6 average. Her day's best of 247 against Long Island was a new personal record, and the eighth best single match in program history.

Junior Bailey Peters is in 31^st with one traditional match to go, finishing with a 954. She bowled gamed of 173-223-174-213-171 for a 190.8 average.

Not far behind Peters is junior Rachel Hirst, as she is 34^th overall with a five-match total of 923. She bowled fames of 169-203-189-171-191 for a 184.6 average.

Junior Malia Stout rounded out the Wildcats on Saturday in 36^th place, knocking down 902 pins. She had games of 135-171-157-225-214 for a 180.4 average.

Duquesne's Olivia Farwell leads the tournament with a 1,230, bowling games of 234-255-259-259-223 for a 246 average.

The Wildcats have one final Traditional match on Sunday morning before going into Baker Bracket play. They will square off against nationally No. 2 ranked Sam Houston State before getting into the final rounds.
