NORMAN, Okla. - - A pair of Wilmington University golf team members were named to the Division II PING All-East Region team earlier today, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

Junior Zac Moore and senior Miguel Siercke were two of 12 members named to the Division II PING All-East Region team, as 108 total student-athletes were named All-Region across Division II's eight regions.

In 29 rounds in 2016-17, Moore led the Wildcats with a 75.59 average. He finished 3.86 strokes against the par, ranking 12^th in the east region at the end of the year according to GolfStat.com. Moore shot a low round of 68 in the first round of the St. Thomas Aquinas Spring Invitational before finished tied for third in the regional competition. He led the way in a head-to-head against Concord with a 69, his only other round below 70 on the season. He was named First Team All-CACC while also earning a spot on the CACC All-Tournament Team after finishing tied for fifth with a 78-73 for a 151 (+9).

Siercke was named the CACC Player of the Year after player all 13 tournaments and 29 rounds for the Wildcats in 2016-17. He finished with an average score of 75.66 while playing 3.93 against the par. At the end of the year, he was ranked 14^th in the East Region according to GolfStat.com. He won the first tournament of the year, shooting a season's best 68 in the first round of the Quechee Division II Challenge. He also capped his season with the only other sub-70 round, shooting a 69 in the third round of the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Super Regional to finish in a tie for seventh with a 223 (+7). Siercke had six Top 10 finishes on the year while also coming in with nine Top 15 finishes.

Dominican's Leonard Lee and Concordia's Juan Roa were the only other student-athletes named All-East Region from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.
