LAKEWOOD, N.J. - - A pair of goals spanning the halftime break led Georgian Court past the Wilmington University men's soccer team, 3-2, in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference action on Tuesday afternoon at Investors Savings Bank Field.

The Lions (6-4-1, 4-1 CACC) scored a pair of goals 10 minutes apart, spanning the halftime break, to take a 3-1 lead in the 50th minute. The Wildcats (2-7-2, 2-3-1 CACC) got one goal back but couldn't find the equalizer as the Lions held on down the stretch.

But the Lions answered before the halftime break, taking the 2-1 lead in the 40th minute.

After the break, a turnover at midfield resulted in the Lions' third goal of the game, taking a 3-1 lead in the 50th minute.

Jhamaleek Porter beat the keeper in the 67th minute with an assist to Matthew Yi, but the Wildcats' three ensuing shots did not find the back of the net. A last ditch effort in by Michiharu Takanashi sailed high in the 90th minute as the Lions ran out the rest of the clock.
