2016 Season: Appeared in 18 games as a sophomore, making 14 starts for the Wildcats – collected two hits in eight plate appearances, including a double – finished the year with an RBI and two runs scored – had a .970 fielding percentage mainly as a catcher, making 61 putouts with four assists, only making two errors – went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in game two at Shippensburg on April 18.

2015 Season: Appeared in 19 games as a freshman – earned her first career hit on April 2 against Goldey-Beacom, going 1-for-3 with a double, an RBI, and a run scored – batted 2-for-3 in game two against Nyack on April 4.

High School: Played softball for four years at Steele Canyon High School under head coach Julie Neubougher – helped lead the team to a league championship – also played four years of golf under head coach Richard Harris – help lead golf team to four straight league championships – a two-time Second Team All-League member and earned one First Team All-League honor in golf.

Personal: Keara Katherine McCarthy- Daughter of Keary and Laura McCarthy- has three siblings, Jamad, Sean, and Makayla – majoring in criminal justice at Wilmington University with aspirations of becoming a detective – from El Cajon, Calif. – favorite athlete is Austin Hedges – also likes archery and golf – the most played song on her iPod is Keith Urban’s “Wasted Time” – favorite professional sports team is the San Diego Padres – favorite cartoon character is Spongebob – favorite movies series is the Harry Potter movies.
