Softball vs. Goldey-Beacom

The Wildcats swept a doubleheader from Goldey-Beacom on Thursday, winning 3-0 and 8-0 (5 inn) at Asbury Field. It was the second straight complete game shutout for Caitlyn Whiteside, as she lowered her season ERA to 2.26 and is now 16-8 on the year. Makayla McCarthy threw a five-inning shutout in the nightcap and is now 15-4 with a 1.69 ERA on the year. Rosa'Lynn Burton extended her hitting streak to a program record tying 25 straight games with a two-run triple in game one and a 3-for-3 performance with three stolen bases in the nightcap.
