NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - A pair of field student-athletes were highlighted by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference on Tuesday as Wilmington University track and field's Donte Dockery and Sytieia Brown were named CACC Athletes of the Week.
The Wildcats competed at the Danny Curran Invitational hosted by Widener University last weekend.
Donte Dockery (Wilmington, Del./A.I duPont) set a WilmU outdoor record with a leap of 15.37 meters in the triple jump, surpassing the NCAA Division II Qualifying mark while winning the event at the Danny Curran. His effort is now the 8th-best mark in all of NCAA Division II after this weekend's action.
He was also a part of the 4x400-meter relay team that set a new school record after finishing third in the event on Saturday with a time of 3:18.30. They now hold the fastest 4x400-meter relay time in the East Region this year as well, nearly four seconds faster than Holy Family's best time.

She is now sixth in the East Region (second among freshmen) in the hammer and Top 6 in the region in all three throws. She also finished fourth in the shot put on Saturday with a launch of 11.68 meters.
