2017 Season: Second Team All-CACC - CACC Player of the Week (4/24)

2016 Season: Played in all 54 games as a junior, making 53 starts at third base – finished third on the team with 44 hits, collecting eight doubles, a triple, and four home runs on the year – also finished third on the team with 23 RBI, adding 23 runs as well – batted 44-for-159 for a .277 average with a .415 slugging percentage – started the year off hot, batting 5-for-8 with a triple, two RBI, and two runs scored in two games on February 19 at Myrtle Beach – also batted 3-for-4 with a homer, two RBI, and a run scored in game two at Dominican on April 17 – went 1-for-3 with a double in the NCAA East Regional Tournament against Le Moyne – hit home runs against Pitt.-Johnstown, Georgian Court, USciences, and Dominican.

2015 Season: Appeared in 48 games while making 42 starts in her first season as a Wildcat – batted .295 on the year with 31 hits, hitting four doubles, three triples, and two home runs – picked up her first hit as a Wildcat on March 8 against Indiana (Pa.) – batted 4-for-4 with a double and her first home run of the season on March 26 against Philadelphia, knocking in four runs while scoring three more – also knocked in four RBI in going 2-for-2 with a triple in game one against Dowling on April 21.

At Delaware State: Played one season at Delaware State – appeared in 48 games as a freshman, including 43 starts – batted .191 in 110 at-bats with 21 hits, six RBI, 16 runs, a double, a home run, and 25 total bases. 

High School: Four year letterwinner as a shortstop at Woodbridge High School – was named First Team All-Henlopen Conference and was awarded the Tri-Athlete award as a junior – earned Second Team All-Henlopen Conference and again earned the Tri-Athlete Award as a senior – named All-Henlopen Conference Honorable Mention as a sophomore - champion of Big League World Series in 2013 – played field hockey for four years – three-year team captain – First Team All-Henlopen Conference and MVP – also played basketball for two years.

Personal: Kaitlyn Mary Slater – daughter of Wayne and Lisa Slater – is the youngest of four siblings, Justin, Garrett, Matt, and Amanda – mother, Lisa, played softball at Delaware State – majoring in criminal justice at Wilmington University with aspirations of becoming a K9 Cop – from Harrington, Del. – favorite athlete is Manny Machado – her favorite professional sports team is the Baltimore Orioles – if she could be someone else for a day, she would want to be Mila Kunis – favorite movies are Pitch Perfect 1 and 2 – considers her entire family her heroes – favorite cartoon character is Spongebob – also enjoys field hockey and slow pitch softball – her favorite sports moment is making all three outs in the seventh inning of the 2016 CACC Tournament Championship game.
