Jade Roberts and Skylar Parris Named to 2022-23 CACC All-Academic Team
June 21, 2023Forty-three (43) student-athletes on Tuesday were named to the 2022-23 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Basketball All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. All 13 CACC schools that compete in the sport were represented on the All-Academic Team. -

February 25, 2023#WilmUWBB ended its 2022-23 season on a high note as the Wildcats closed the season with a 52-47 victory over the crosstown rival Goldey-Beacom Saturday afternoon at the WU Athletics Complex. The win snapped an 11-game losing streak to their in-state foes, having not won since the 2015-16 season at the Joseph West Jones Center. Tonight was the first time the Wildcats defeated the Lightning inside the WU Athletics Complex, which opened for the 2012-13 season. Senior Fatou Ndao led the way on her final game as a Wildcat. Ndao scored 16 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and had one steal and two blocks. Amber Washington added 13 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. Jade Roberts was the final Wildcat in double-digits, adding a 12-point double-double with 13 rebounds. Roberts also added four assists and two blocks. Jon Buzby and Lisa Sullivan on the call.

It was a two-point game entering the fourth quarter, but the Wildcats won the 4th frame, 24-6, to win going away. The starting five was responsible for all of the Wildcat's 62 points. Fatou Ndao led the way for the Wildcats with a double-double of 16 points and 12 boards. Daja Claiborne also recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Amber Washington added 15 points and a game high six assists. Trinity Brittingham added 11 points, eight rebounds, and four steals.
